Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is hiring an Electrical Superintendent for on-site leadership of production on large electrical construction projects.

You will manage IBEW personnel, ensure labor productivity, cost control, and safety compliance, while coordinating with trades and stakeholders to meet schedules and budgets. The role requires extensive field leadership experience, strong drawing interpretation, and a track record of implementing safety and quality standards across union and non-union

Qualifications

Knowledge of safety regulations and construction codes.
Displays strong written and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Strong understanding of labor productivity metrics, cost control, health and safety protocols, and project planning.
Ability to interpret construction drawings and navigate project risks and scope as outlined in contracts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all project stakeholders.
Proficiency in project scheduling tools and communicating schedules.

Responsibilities

Oversee on-site Production personnel and ensure efficient labor utilization.
Collaborate with Local Union office to ensure union standards compliance.
Guarantee accurate compensation and compliance with agreements.
Direct onsite support and administrative resources as assigned.
Manage project scheduling to align with budget and estimates.
Monitor labor productivity and implement cost-control measures.
Lead safety programs and conduct regular audits on-site.
Coordinate with trades and stakeholders to minimize delays and resolve conflicts.
Ensure work follows CEI quality standards and contractual requirements.
