Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company seeks an EHS Specialist to lead the Environmental, Health, and Safety program at the facility. You will partner with operations and HR, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, safety practices, and environmental recordkeeping.

You will interact with all levels of the organization, provide training, maintain records, drive audits, and support multiple facilities or nationwide EHS projects as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Safety/Environmental Science or related field is required.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience is required or equivalent.
• Experience with compliance management in a manufacturing facility under a Title V Air Permit.
• Experience managing a Respiratory Protection Program and a Hearing Conservation Program.
• Familiarity with Powered Industrial Trucks safety and NFPA 70E Electrical Safety.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site team to implement the EHS Program and policies.
• Audit effectiveness of the site EHS program through the annual corporate audit.
• Provide EHS training to all site personnel.
• Maintain all pertinent safety and environmental records.
• Maintain workers compensation files and investigate incidents.
• Generate internal and external reports as required.
• Execute site inspection program with respect to safety and environmental regulations.
• Accompany inspectors from state, federal, and local agencies and respond to inquiries.
• Act as local expert on EHS requirements and advise site leadership.
