Job summary

Solx Holdings LLC is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to own the safety and environmental program on our active construction site in Puerto Rico, from site prep through commissioning.

This hands-on, on-site role requires leading incident prevention, enforcing OSHA standards, coordinating with the Environmental & Permitting Manager, and building a real safety culture across multiple trades.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction EHS — safety and environmental compliance on large projects.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA construction standards (29 CFR 1926).
• Experience overseeing EHS for contractors on $50M+ projects.
• Hands-on management of high-risk construction activities and controls.
• Strong incident investigation and root-cause analysis skills.
• Certified safety credentials (OSH A 500/510, CHST/CSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the site-specific EHS program including policies and procedures.
• Enforce OSHA construction standards and local EHS regs across the site.
• Oversee contractor EHS performance; review safety plans and JHA/JSA.
• Conduct daily site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to pre-empt hazards.
• Lead incident prevention, investigation, and root-cause analysis; track OSHA records.
