Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or a science discipline.
• Working knowledge of hazardous waste, air, wastewater, and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site EHS compliance consulting to federal and private sector clients.
• Physically collecting, labeling, and handling hazardous waste from medical facilities.
• Coordinate with VA Green Environmental Systems Managers and respond to their needs.
• Use checklists to surveil satellite accumulation areas and determine collection needs.
• Document waste collections, hours, waste types, and related data.
• Coordinate with hazardous waste haulers for shipments, labeling, and DOT compliance.
• Perform waste management, data entry, analysis, and RCRA reporting and planning.
• Contribute to monthly invoicing and administrative tasks.
• Support other clients with environmental consulting as needed.
