Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety and Facilities professional for our Benicia, California site. The role combines safety audits, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day facilities support to ensure a safe, compliant workplace for a global technology leader.

You will perform inspections, manage safety programs, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain equipment and infrastructure; travel and physical tasks are involved.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma required with 4–7 years of related experience.
• Experience performing audits, inspections and safety-related tasks.
• Ability to work with PPE and to operate in environments including clean rooms.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental health and safety activities and site compliance.
• Perform audits, inspections, and risk assessments in facilities.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair work with facilities and operations teams.
• Support contractor oversight for janitorial, HVAC, electrical and plumbing services.
• Assist with employee training related to safety practices.
