Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time, on-site Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for a school-based role in LaGrange Park, IL. The SPED teacher will develop IEPs, deliver tailored instruction, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support students with disabilities.

The position emphasizes strong communication, documentation, and a commitment to quality education with dual support from the District and TheraPeds. Prior SPED experience and proper licensure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Teaching Certification required or eligible.
• Bachelor's or Master’s in Special Education or higher.
• State License as ECSE SPED teacher.
• 1+ year of school-based experience preferred.
• Fingerprint background clearance and ability to collaborate with staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assess individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Deliver instruction tailored to diverse learning styles and needs.
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and specialists for a comprehensive approach.
• Monitor progress and adapt instructional strategies to improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
