Responsibilities

• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools and distribute them
• Control traffic near work zones with proper training
• Signal equipment operators to coordinate movement of machinery
• Dig trenches or backfill and level earth using tools
• May enter trenches or confined spaces after training
• Comply with safety guidelines as directed by Foreman/Supervisor
