Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians for mobile on-site repairs and inspections. You will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites, schedule preventive maintenance, and manage work orders with accuracy and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of diesel/trailer repair, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license required and reliable transportation.
• Experience using a computer or tablet to process work orders.
• 2+ years performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engines, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components.
• Open/close repair orders on company devices and obtain parts from local vendors.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely manner.
