Job summary

WM is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Saint Cloud, MN for on-site work. The role offers a starting hourly wage with bonuses and allowances, including a $5,000 sign-on and tool/boot stipends, plus comprehensive healthcare and a 401(k).

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with evening shifts and occasional Saturdays; overtime may be required. You’ll service trucks and equipment that support local communities.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without accommodation.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems.
• Estimate time and material costs for repairs.
• Work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA standards.
• Complete required paperwork and document parts usage.
• Assist senior mechanics on project work.
• Review or assign repairs identified on DVIRs.
