Job summary

Eagle Group, located in Clayton, Delaware, is seeking a Design Engineer to create working designs of custom equipment, considering customer requirements and manufacturing processes. The role requires CAD experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

The position is on-site, with candidates expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Clayton, DE. CAD software experience with OnShape, PTC Creo, or SolidWorks is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Formal education in CAD software (OnShape, PTC Creo, Solid Works preferred)
• Associate’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and develop design solutions to meet customers’ needs.
• Create working models and shop drawings utilizing 3D CAD software.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) for custom designs in support of manufacturing and MRP requirements
• Interpret approved submittals drawings, project specifications, industry standards, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards to create manufacturing documents for fabrication.
• Maintain organized and accurate engineering files and records within company systems
• Collaborate with teams inside and outside Eagle to clarify and outline design details.
• Continue to drive innovation across operations
• Other duties as needed
