Job summary

Spectral Labs in San Francisco is seeking a forward deployed engineer to get foundation models working inside our customers' engineering teams: scoping deployments, integrating with CAD and PLM environments, fine-tuning and evaluating on customer data, and bringing what you learn back to research and product. This is a fully in-person role at our office in SF, with travel to customer sites.

Compensation and equity total $150–250k annually.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of software engineering experience with shipped-to-user work.
• Strong Python skills and ability to write production-grade code.
• Judgment to distinguish customer asks from their actual needs.

Responsibilities

• Scope deployments for customers and define integration points with CAD/PLM environments.
• Fine-tune and evaluate foundation models on customer data.
• Collaborate with research and product teams to bring learnings back to the company.
