Job summary

E Logic seeks a Data Scientist II to support the SWRMC Engineering Department in San Diego. This on-site, key personnel role analyzes large datasets to drive fleet maintenance decisions, using Python/R/SQL, NLP, and ML techniques.

You'll build dashboards and reports for leadership with a focus on availability, maintenance, and process improvements. The position requires a Bachelor's in a technical field, 3+ years of data science experience, proficiency with Power BI/Tableau, and an Active Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to data science or analytics.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data science, data analytics, or related field.
• U.S. Citizenship required; Active Secret (Tier 3) clearance or ability to obtain interim clearance.
• Proficiency in data-oriented programming languages (Python, R, SQL) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information.
• Apply data mining, data modeling, NLP, and machine learning to large datasets.
• Visualize, interpret, and report data findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Create dynamic reports and dashboards to track KPIs related to maintenance and readiness.
• Support CHENG with technical analysis of large datasets for availability and process improvements.
• Contribute to metrics development, data formatting, and interpretation for continuous improvement.
