Job summary

Pogue Construction Company in McKinney, Texas is seeking a Special Projects Scheduler for a large-scale data center project. The role is embedded full-time on-site and will work closely with superintendents, project managers, owners, design teams, and trade partners to ensure milestones and turnover requirements are achieved.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction scheduling experience.
• 2+ years supporting mission-critical, data center, industrial, semiconductor, healthcare, or other highly technical projects preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining CPM schedules exceeding $50M in construction value.
• Experience supporting commissioning-intensive projects strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the project's master CPM schedule throughout the life of the project.
• Work full-time on-site on the project team to monitor progress, identify risks, and drive schedule performance.
• Develop detailed baseline schedules, milestone schedules, recovery schedules, and what-if analyses.
• Collaborate with project leadership to establish sequencing strategies for structural, architectural, MEP, startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Lead weekly scheduling meetings with project teams, owners, consultants, and trade partners.
• Review subcontractor schedules and integrate them into the master project schedule.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule impacts, delays, constraints, and recovery opportunities.
• Track schedule performance metrics and communicate schedule health to project leadership.
• Assist project teams in developing pull-planning sessions, short-term look-ahead schedules, and milestone recovery plans.
• Analyze labor loading, crew productivity, material procurement, long-lead equipment deliveries, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate closely with MEP coordinators, VDC teams, commissioning agents, and field operations staff.
• Generate schedule fragnet analyses and support time extension requests when necessary.
• Produce executive-level schedule reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Conduct field walks regularly to verify installation progress and validate schedule updates.
• Support startup, testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and turnover schedule requirements.
• Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies before impacts occur.
