Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Critical Facility Engineer to maintain essential mechanical, electrical and control systems within a data center environment in Harwood, North Dakota. You will deliver timely client service and uphold sustainable maintenance practices while collaborating with the facility team.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, troubleshooting system upgrades, and responding to emergencies. A high school diploma and PLC/electrical knowledge are preferred, with on-site availability

Qualifications

Controls, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Familiarity with PLC controls and industrial automation systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site response.

Responsibilities

Maintain mechanical, electrical and control systems in a critical environment facility.
Deliver timely and quality client service while maintaining sustainability.
Respond to emergency calls and coordinate with the Critical Environment Facility Manager.
Inspect equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend system upgrades.
Order parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs.
Monitor vendors and contractors to ensure standards.
Complete routine maintenance per BGIS Safety Policy.
Accurate and timely completion of work order requests.
Escalate issues as needed.
