Job summary

American Power & Gas is seeking a Data Analyst to join our technical team for a full-time, on-site role. We leverage data analytics to optimize marketing, sales, and customer insights across residential and small commercial sectors.

The candidate will develop measurement frameworks, lead analytics initiatives, and provide actionable insights to senior management, with a focus on data quality and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in Marketing Analytics.
• 1–3 years of experience in data reporting and analysis in a quantitative business environment (sales/marketing preferred).
• Experience using data visualization tools to report on KPIs and trends.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and calculated metrics.
• Strong SQL knowledge to retrieve accurate data answers.
• Excellent troubleshooting, attention to detail, and data quality focus.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to tailor messaging to stakeholders.
• Ability to manage projects, priorities, timelines, and cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain analytics dashboards and reports for marketing and sales.
• Develop measurement frameworks and success definitions, plus optimization levers and tests.
• Routinely represent Analytics in cross-functional meetings and updates.
• Provide regular performance trends, forecasts, and insights for leadership.
• Partner with internal teams to identify analytics opportunities and develop tools.
• Create data-driven lead distribution and scoring models to improve sales outcomes.
• Develop predictive models and what-if analyses for leadership decision-making.
• Collaborate with Operations to optimize data workflows from sourcing to reporting.
