Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking an On-Site Cylinder Inventory Coordinator in Phoenix to manage on-site cylinder inventories and ensure customers have the gas products needed for daily operations.

You will coordinate replenishment with production plants and distribution teams and monitor diverse gas inventories across customer locations. The role requires strong communication, computer skills, and a commitment to safety, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and obtain site security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training preferred.
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, healthcare support, or logistics preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with customers and teams.
• Proficient computer skills with ability to learn inventory management systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain required site security clearances when necessary.
• Knowledge of compressed gas products and cylinder management is advantageous.
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds routinely and move heavier cylinders with equipment.
• Commitment to safety in healthcare, industrial, and commercial environments.
• Ability to learn CGA, NFPA, and DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site cylinder inventories to ensure customers have gas products needed for daily operations.
• Coordinate cylinder ordering and replenishment with production plants and distribution teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Monitor inventories of industrial, specialty, laboratory standard, and medical gases across customer locations.
• Support cylinder distribution and retrieval activities while adhering to safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Safely handle compressed gas cylinders and cryogenic dewars using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Perform inventory transactions, cylinder tracking, billing, and order processing using business systems such as JD Edwards and handheld devices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for full and empty cylinders in compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with facility support teams, clinical staff, customer contacts, and internal operations to resolve inventory and supply needs.
• Assist with order entry, inventory reconciliation, cylinder accountability, and product allocation.
• Support medical gas inventory requirements in patient care and other critical customer locations to uphold environment-of-care standards.
