Jacobs is seeking an On-Site CSA Engineer for a large-scale project near Baton Rouge, LA. The role acts as the on-site representative for civil, structural, and architectural disciplines during construction, coordinating among Owner, Contractor, and design teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects.
• Strong understanding of CSA systems and industry standards.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for CSA design and construction matters.
• Perform daily site walks to monitor progress, quality, and constructability.
• Coordinate design issues between field teams and design consultants.
• Evaluate field conditions and facilitate design clarifications and revisions.
• Support responses to RFIs, submittals, substitutions, and field inquiries.
• Review installation activities for conformance with design intent and project specs.
• Identify and communicate observed deficiencies and quality concerns.
• Participate in punch walks, inspections, testing, and turnover.
• Provide weekly site observation reports documenting progress, risks, issues, and recommendations.
• Support BIM coordination, mockups, and site validation activities.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, commissioning, and Owner representatives to resolve issues.
• Proactively identify project risks and support mitigation planning.
• Establish clear communication and escalation processes among stakeholders.
