MindCare Solutions is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for a full-time, on-site role in a correctional setting. The position involves conducting psychosocial assessments, providing individual and group therapy, and developing treatment plans for incarcerated individuals.

You will coordinate with psychiatrists and medical staff, support discharge planning, maintain documentation per HIPAA and facility standards, and respond to crises.

Formación

• MSW from an accredited program required.
• Active LCSW license in CA required.
• Experience with high-risk populations and crisis intervention preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and HIPAA principles.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct psychosocial assessments for incarcerated individuals.
• Provide individual and group therapy for mental health, substance use, and behavioral issues.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical needs.
• Assess suicide risk and intervene during crises.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, medical staff, and correctional officers.
• Make referrals for psychiatric services or specialized care.
• Support discharge planning and reentry coordination (housing, resources).
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per standards.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
