Trinity Services Group Inc. is hiring a Food Service Worker to prepare and serve a variety of food items within a correctional facility, following menus and instructions. The role reports to the Food Service Director and is on-site inside the jail setting.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years old; preferred experience in institutional food service. The position offers a $17.00/hour wage and a $1000 new hire bonus, plus competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions promptly.
• Maintain a clean and food-safe workstation, pull trash, sweep, and mop as needed.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Abide by all food safety regulations about sanitation, handling and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks, while being organized and clean.
