Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking an on-site supervisor for the Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR. You will oversee construction trade programs and instructors, coordinate with national training contractors, and ensure compliance with DOL, state, and local regulations.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in vocational training or related field, plus supervisory experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in vocational training or related field; three years related technical experience preferred.
Directly related experience may substitute for education.
One year of supervisory experience required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Act as the on-site supervisor of all construction trade programs and instructors.
Coordinate with national training contractors.
Administer construction trades projects according to government and management directives and federal, state, and local regulations.
Ensure CTST reporting forms and DOL requirements are compiled and filed on time.
Develop curricula, instructional materials, methods and techniques.
