Job summary

Ag Pro Construction seeks a proactive Job-Site Superintendent to lead our agricultural and commercial projects in Sunnyside, WA. You will be the on-site leader, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery while liaising with clients, subcontractors, and the project management team.

The role requires 5+ years in construction with leadership experience, strong ability to read plans, and proficiency in project management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural and commercial construction practices, tools, and equipment.
• Experience in the dairy or industrial sectors is highly preferred.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review project scope, plans, specs, and quality standards.
• Display the company sign on-site with visibility and maintain it.
• Maintain daily logs and keep the schedule online with weekly Friday reviews.
• Meet with subcontractors before start to review scope, timeframes and needs.
• Maintain proactive daily communication with PM, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Allocate workers and subcontractors to tasks at the right time and ensure on-site readiness.
• Walk the job site daily to ensure safety, progress, and compliance with plans.
• Identify and resolve project obstacles with practical solutions.
• Maintain a safe worksite and ensure inspections are passed as scheduled.
• Attend final walkthroughs and project closeout meetings.
