Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Construction Site Safety Officer (SSHO) for military projects in Jacksonville. The SSHO will be responsible for implementing safety protocols and ensuring project compliance with regulations. Candidates should have significant experience in construction safety management and related certifications. The position requires work on-site, with local candidates preferred. Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in commercial construction required.
• Must have experience in safety management at the jobsite level.
• 24 hours of documented safety training per year for the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement all safety requirements for assigned projects.
• Integrate with project teams to support safe work production.
• Oversee daily activities for assigned direct reports.
