Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking Safety Managers for project sites nationwide, including Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, and more. Positions require relocation/travel as needed and emphasize leadership, safety program oversight, and collaboration with client teams.

You will drive safety performance, conduct inspections, and lead training to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and Gilbane procedures. A Bachelor’s degree and safety credentials are preferred, with a strong focus on building

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Management or Engineering preferred.
• 4-5 years of construction safety management experience.
• ASP, CSP, CHST or CIH credential required; OSHA instructor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote Gilbane Cares safety culture on the project.
• Ensure safety preplanning, reviews and compliance with safety plans.
• Conduct SafetyNet inspections and analyze trends.
• Train project teams on Gilbane, client, and OSHA requirements.
• Coach teams in hazard identification and corrective actions.
