Job summary

Robinson Construction seeks an On-Site Safety Representative to promote a strong safety culture on active job sites. You will support OSHA compliance, client safety requirements, and company policies while working with Superintendents, Project Managers and field personnel to prevent incidents.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher with emphasis on construction safety.
• Preferred OSHA/CSH certifications (OSHA 30, 510, STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP).

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily job site activities for safety compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintain training documentation and verify on-site employee training.
• Conduct site orientations and audit records using Site Docs.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and document minutes.
• Ensure crane inspections are performed and documented at required intervals.
• Investigate incidents/near-misses and document corrective actions.
• Assist with substance abuse testing and project-specific safety tasks.
• Attend project meetings to support PMs and superintendents.
• Coordinate with Corporate Safety during inspections and investigations.
• Ensure permits are reviewed and filed; maintain open communication with site supervision.
