Job summary

SB Thomas & Associates is seeking a Project Manager to work on-site at client construction projects in Pittsburgh, PA. You will lead the project team, perform pre-construction activities, review schedules, manage change orders, and ensure compliance with drawings and specs.

The role requires 5 years of construction experience plus 2 years in construction management, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years construction experience plus 2 years construction management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field
• Experience reading blueprints/project specs
• Valid Driver License required
• OSHA 30 or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the SB Thomas project team including project engineer(s) and admin staff
• Provide pre-construction services including constructability reviews, cost estimating, site logistics and phasing plans
• Review project schedules and track progress
• Travel to client sites as needed
• Prepare change orders and review payment applications
• Oversee daily inspection reports and photos in CM platform
• Maintain close-out documents and ensure specs conformity
• Conduct pre-bid, kick-off and owner update meetings
• Coordinate inspections and testing, including LEED-related checks
• Prepare weekly/monthly status reports for client
