Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Project Manager for a full‑time, on‑site role in El Paso, TX. You will act as the management representative to owners, design teams, and trade partners to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will lead safety integration, plan pre‑job activities, manage resources, and coordinate with the Estimating department. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar field with a minimum of five to ten years commercial design‑build project management or construction management experience
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• High attention to detail while managing deadlines and multiple priorities
• Must possess the ability to strategically allocate resources and manage assets
• Preferred Qualifications: OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is properly incorporated into job planning and execution
• Promote accountability among staff and trade partners regarding safety policies
• Oversee pre-job planning activities and mobilization/start-up
• Manage project schedule, procurement, and coordination of trade partners
• Serve as the primary company representative at the project site and point of contact for the owner
• Maintain open communications with all stakeholders and resolve issues collaboratively
• Monitor project costs and schedule progress; prepare monthly margin analysis
• Ensure QC plan is set up and commissioning team is created
• Review and align with the Book of 14 and contract documents
