Job summary

Roche Brothers is seeking a Construction Laborer to join our Mont Alto-based team. This on-site, full-time role offers hands-on participation in commercial retaining wall projects and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.

You will perform general labor, handle materials, assist with wall stacking, drainage installation, and site cleanup, while adhering to safety policies. Prior construction experience isn't required—we train motivated individuals.

Qualifications

• Construction experience is preferred but trainable.
• Experience using hand tools; willingness to learn power tools.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Safety-conscious and dependable.
• Authorized to work in the United States; driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor on commercial retaining wall construction projects.
• Assist with wall stacking, backfilling, and material placement.
• Prepare and level footing stone for installations.
• Cut blocks, caps, drainage pipe, and geosynthetic materials as needed.
• Install drainage systems according to project specifications.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Follow directions from Foremen and Assistant Foremen.
• Work safely while following company safety policies and procedures.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 60 lbs.
