This full-time, on-site role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety, and quality workmanship in a fast-paced construction environment. You will operate a range of equipment, read and implement drawings, and coordinate labor while maintaining high standards and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hardscaping experience, including retaining walls, patios, walkways.
• Proven skill and proficiency in operating construction equipment.
• Ability to interpret and execute plans and elevations from construction drawings.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to safety practices.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Spanish and English bilingual ability is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain construction equipment (skid steers, excavators, bulldozers, rollers) for retaining wall and hardscape projects.
• Perform laborer duties when not operating equipment to assist with project completion.
• Set elevations using grade lasers and read drawings for accurate layouts.
• Read, understand, and lay out work from plans to ensure precise execution.
• Maintain high quality, safety, and on-site productivity.
• Communicate field issues and improvements to supervisors for quick resolution.
