Job summary

Project Solutions Inc is looking for an experienced Construction Inspector to oversee the recapitalization of Runway 1-19 at the U.S. Coast Guard Base in Elizabeth City, NC. This full-time, on-site role involves continuous inspection of construction activities and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience as a Construction Inspector or relevant
• At least 02 years of experience on Federal Government construction projects
• Experience should include work on airfield-related construction projects

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site inspection and surveillance of construction work
• Review and sign daily construction reports; notify of non-compliance
• Monitor safety practices, identify violations, and report them

Skills

Strong knowledge of construction trades

Ability to read and interpret contract drawings

Understanding of local and national building codes

Strong documentation and reporting skills

Physical ability to perform site inspections

Fluency in English and Spanish

Education

4-year Engineering degree or PE license or PMP certification
