Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Community Manager for Waterview, a 160-unit apartment community in Hendersonville, TN. You will supervise on-site staff, manage daily operations, and strive to maximize occupancy, retention, and compliance while maintaining a professional, resident-focused environment.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of multifamily management experience, strong communication skills, and an accounting/administrative background.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree (4-year degree preferred) in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), or Resident Apartment Manager (RAM) designation preferred.
• Three years of multifamily property management experience is required; tax credit experience preferred.
• Accounting and administrative background is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to speak in front of groups is a plus.
• Reliability and strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains daily property operations and may cover related tasks to ensure curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Hires, trains, and evaluates staff; manages performance and employee records; ensures compliance with policies and laws.
• Maintains resident relations and addresses concerns to support occupancy and retention.
• Prepares budgets, monitors expenditures, and adheres to purchasing procedures.
• Collects rents and handles move-ins/move-outs; coordinates with maintenance and vendors.
