Job summary

Sabey Construction Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Coordinator to drive all commissioning activities from planning through startup on major projects.

The role requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, CX agents, and clients to ensure systems meet design specs and client expectations. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a construction/engineering field, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical and fire protection, and experience with commissioning software.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in construction management or related engineering field is required.
• Experience with commissioning and knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection is expected.
• Familiarity with codes such as ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC and related regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all commissioning activities to ensure systems are installed, tested and operating per project specs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors and clients to deliver high-quality systems.
• Lead commissioning meetings and manage start-up schedules and associated costs.
• On-site presence during 3rd party CX activities and ensure qualified coverage when absent.
• Ensure documentation, spare parts, and materials are ordered and handed over per requirements.
