Role Description

The Commercial Project Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is responsible for managing commercial construction projects from handoff through closeout while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Project Manager will collaborate with field operations, estimating, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal support teams to successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from handoff through final closeout.
• Develop and execute project plans to achieve schedule, budget, quality, and profitability goals.
• Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Coordinate with superintendents, field personnel, vendors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project schedules and proactively address potential delays or issues.
• Review contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, contract requirements, and quality expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve project challenges through proactive communication and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience managing drywall and metal stud framing projects is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction budgets, job costing, forecasting, and financial management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
