American Greetings Corporation is seeking an entry level Commercial Analyst to join our Insights & Analytics team in Westlake, Ohio. The role focuses on learning AG data sources, POS analysis, and retailer reporting using mathematical and category management techniques.

Under guidance, you will develop retailer-specific analyses and insights, build reports, and collaborate with Sales, Occasion, Promotions, and other analytics teams. On-site position with Northeast Ohio focus.

Qualifications

• Learn POS data sources, product hierarchies, and retailer attributes to support analyses.
• Develop retailer-specific reports, analyses, and insights using multiple data sources.
• Learn basic business processes and collaborate with Sales and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

• Participates in training on data sources, tools, and business functions.
• Performs ad-hoc retailer analytics and recurring analytical reports under supervision.
• Builds proficiency in data analysis/mining and presents results using SQL, R, Python, Excel, and Power BI.
• Collaborates with Sales leadership to support retailer discussions with data-driven insights.
• Develops presentations used by Sales teams for retailer meetings and HQ visits.
