Job summary

ESN is seeking a Combat System Maintenance Coordinator to be on-site at Newport News Shipyard, VA. You will manage RCOH shipyard execution, coordinate combat system design and modernization, and monitor production through daily tours and reviews. Strong knowledge of CANES/NAVMACS and MS Office is required.

Applicants should have 10+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree (or 20+ years in lieu of degree) and must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree.
• Twenty years experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Experience with aircraft carrier maintenance and operations.
• Knowledge of combat systems including radars, antennas and networks.
• Strong MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site management for RCOH shipyard execution and planning.
• Oversee design, equipment design, and modernization of combat systems.
• Conduct tours to monitor production progress and issues.
• Review reports and provide production impact and cost analysis.
• Coordinate combat systems work between teams and shipyard.
• Plan removal, repair, installation and testing of combat systems.
