Job summary

Civil Recruit is hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician to analyze, troubleshoot, maintain and repair CNC electro-mechanical control systems across multiple machines. The position is 100% on site in Franklin, MA with a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm schedule and on-site interview.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diverse machining equipment, document work in our maintenance software, and work with engineering to resolve complex problems while following safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems on CNC machine shop equipment within a manufacturing environment.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings and specifications for industrial machining equipment.
• Ability to program and operate CNC equipment to verify maintenance and repairs.
• Proficient with MS Office and the ability to write repair reports.
• Commitment to safety, quality policies, and industrial standards.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Maintain and repair diverse machining equipment including 5-axis mills, CNC lathes, EDMs, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems to root cause; document work and outcomes.
• Plan repairs with engineering and determine sequence of operations.
• Identify improvements to PM instructions and asset BOMs and report to management.
• Adhere to FDA/ISO quality system regulations and safety policies.
• Tank cleanout and TPM with light repairs.
