Job summary

CORRE, Inc in Wisconsin is seeking a highly motivated civil engineering or civil technician co-op. The position involves on-site inspections for construction projects, performing engineering calculations and assisting with project documentation, and using CAD software to prepare designs and plan sheets.

You will support engineers on multiple disciplines, assist with survey duties on construction or related projects, and gain exposure to state DOT procedures.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures for construction and design.
• Experience using Microstation/AutoCAD software or similar.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of general survey practices and equipment.
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to provide own means of reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspection for construction projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with project documentation.
• Utilize computer aided drafting to prepare designs and plan sheets.
• Support Engineers with day-to-day tasks associated with multiple disciplined projects.
• Assist with survey duties on construction or other projects.
