Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to provide maintenance support for aircraft software. This on-site role is located at NAVAIR-PAX River, St. Mary’s County, MD, and requires five days per week on site.

The position requires an active Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a BS in engineering or computer science, with hands-on experience in C++, Linux (RHEL), and Oracle databases, plus Visual Studio. Familiarity with Jira/Confluence, DOORS, and M&S tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, review, and test C++ code.
• Experience working with Linux Operating Systems including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
