Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Bridge Inspector for a full-time on-site role in Bagdad, Arizona. You will serve as the primary on-site contact, performing independent construction inspections for a three-span bridge within an active surface mining facility.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus four years of bridge construction inspection experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR; pre-employment drug screen required.
• MSHA Part 48 certification or ability to obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as AECOM's sole on-site construction inspection representative for a three-span bridge project.
• Independently perform construction inspection in a heavy civil/mining setting and monitor contractor work.
• Verify plans, specifications, and quality standards; document findings in daily reports.
• Communicate inspection results with project stakeholders and leadership.
• Prepare inspection reports, photos, quantities, and project records for payment.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA mine site safety rules and project safety requirements.
