Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in La Porte, Indiana seeks Area Leaders to provide PLC, HMI, and robotic control system support. The role focuses on maintaining reliability and optimizing productivity of automated systems within a state-of-the-art investment casting facility.

Qualifications

• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS require an associate degree or related field experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Export-controlled data access eligibility is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records for robot/automation programs and changes.
• Support PLC, HMI, and robotic systems in plants.
• Assist maintenance techs in troubleshooting issues.
• Improve overall plant equipment safety and reliability.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Maintenance.
