Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH in the United States, Georgia, Marietta, seeks an Automation Support Engineer (Controls) to join the Launch Support Team. You will support large, high-throughput customer sites during startup, go-live and hyper care, acting as a technical coach and primary liaison for incident resolution.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting Cross Belt Sorter systems on-site and remotely, collaborating with NASC, and delivering incident reports while maintaining safety around live

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical engineering or automation.
• 1+ year experience in controls or automation support.
• Hands-on experience with Profinet, Profibus and Ethernet/IP networks.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot Cross Belt Sorter incidents on-site and remotely.
• Support systems during go-live, ramp-up and hyper care phases.
• Collaborate with customer teams and NASC to perform root-cause analysis.
• Serve as main technical liaison between site and NASC for SCS issues.
• Provide clear incident direction and escalate as needed.
• Work under time pressure with changing priorities in live operations.
• Challenge assumptions and work with evolving docs.
• Write incident summaries and reports as required.
• Maintain safety-first mindset around live systems.
