Job summary

Straub Collaborative is seeking an Assistant Stylist for a variable-hour, on-site position in our Portland studio. You will prepare garments, assist with on-set styling, and ensure consistency across styled outputs for e-commerce shoots.

The role supports production teams and requires adapting to fluctuating schedules. Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years styling in photo production, strong organization, and a solid grasp of garment prep and presentation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of styling experience in photo production (on-model, mannequin, or laydown).
• Ability to execute styling direction consistently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with repetitive tasks.
• Working knowledge of garment prep, fit, and presentation standards.
• Ability to stay organized, follow process, and adapt to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments and accessories for shoots (steaming, organizing, pre-styling).
• Support on-set styling, including dressing models and adjusting looks.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across all styled outputs.
• Support product flow from prep through set and back to storage.
• Track product status and ensure items are ready when needed.
• Maintain organized styling areas and racks.
• Assist with basic garment pairing and look preparation.
• Partner with Sample/Production teams to track merchandise and returns.
• Maintain simple workflow tracking and communicate issues as they arise.
