Job summary

EAH Housing is seeking an Assistant Resident Manager I for Markham Plaza I, a 2-bedroom onsite unit in San Jose, CA. The role supports the Resident Manager to keep fiscal, physical, and social function strong within an affordable housing community.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of tax-credit property management experience, Yardi Voyager familiarity, and are capable of working independently with bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Salary is hourly with a broad range.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of affordable housing property management experience.
• Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH and ADA guidelines.
• Skilled in problem solving and resident relations.
• Strong computer and phone skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting rent, bank deposits, and rent roll.
• Monitor work orders and conduct daily grounds walks.
• Answer phones, file, and prepare correspondence.
• Assist residents with questions or problems.
