Job summary

Boca Recovery Center in Springfield, MA is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our medical team part-time, M/W/F.

The role emphasizes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with the Medical Director to support detox and residential care.

Applicants should hold MA APRN license, DEA, and dual PMHNP/FNP preferred; on-call is required.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts APRN license is required.
• Dual PMHNP/FNP certification preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric or addiction treatment settings preferred.
• On-call availability as needed.
• HIPAA, infection control, and ethics knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing expertise for medical and clinical activities per patient treatment plans.
• Conduct psychiatric and physical assessments; manage medications.
• Assess admissions and ongoing care appropriateness.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage for emergencies.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care.
• Deliver staff in-services and contribute to policy development.
• Document assessments, orders, progress notes, and discharges accurately.
• Collaborate with leadership on patient-care policies.
