Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an Applications Engineer to deliver technically sound, commercially aware solutions for industrial and special applications in the office. You will act as a product specialist within a cross‑functional team, collaborating with sales, development and other departments at the site.

You will evaluate requests, prepare proposals and offers, calculate costs, review orders, and support customers throughout the order process, ensuring accurate, timely responses and high value

Qualifications

• HS/GED & 1-3 years relevant experience
• Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as inside Sales Representative
• SAP knowledge
• Experience with common MS Office applications
• Good communication skills
• Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking

In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications. You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.

Responsibilities

• Support of the defined clientele in the office
• Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals
• Cost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments
• Technical and commercial preparation of offers
• Order acceptance, review, and preparation (Complete Order)
• And any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• HS/GED & 1-3 years relevant experience
• Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer.
• SAP knowledge
• Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications.
• Good communication skills
• Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BS or BA Degree in relevant field
