Job summary

Innovative Captive Strategies (ICS) is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled solutions that drive intelligent automation across the enterprise. This hands-on role partners with business and IT teams to identify opportunities, translate requirements, and govern AI technologies with measurable business value.

The position is on-site in Waukee, IA, requiring 5-7 years of experience in AI-enabled solution delivery, Agile/Scrum, and strong collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• On-site in Waukee, IA required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in business solutions, application development, or related technical capacity, with experience in AI-enabled solutions, Agile/Scrum, and AI governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-enabled solutions for improved processes and automation.
• Prototype, configure, test, and refine AI solutions across the solution lifecycle.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and prioritize AI initiatives with measurable value.
• Translate business and technical needs into secure, scalable AI solution designs.
• Develop AI capabilities such as document intelligence and AI-assisted workflows.
• Lead AI agent governance including lifecycle management and access controls.
• Establish AI adoption reporting with dashboards and metrics measuring impact, value, and risk.
• Collaborate with developers, data teams, security, and IT to deliver compliant AI solutions.
• Conduct testing and continuous improvement to ensure quality and reliability.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and best practices.
