Job summary

Seal Dynamics (A HEICO Company) is seeking an on-site Buyer in Hauppauge, NY. You will handle PO administration, supplier relations, and logistics planning to meet forecasts and order fill targets.

Requires Associates degree or equivalent, 1 year of buying experience (or 5 years), and ERP/MRP plus MS Office proficiency. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and/or significant buying experience required.
• ERP/MRP systems experience is essential.
• Strong MS Office skills are expected.
• Experience with aerospace and defense products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers purchase orders from approval through acknowledgment.
• Manages open backlog to ensure timely deliveries.
• Selects cost-effective logistics providers.
• Communicates clearly with internal and external contacts.
• Develops inventory planning models to meet demand and turns.
• Ensures purchasing complies with policies and standards.
• Identifies strategic suppliers by price, quantity, quality, delivery.
• Oversees customs clearance when required.
• Collaborates with Product Management to align with forecasts.
• Supports KPI tracking for sales, orders, delivery, and turns.
