Job summary

Trane Technologies in Trenton, NJ is hiring a 3rd Shift Maintenance Electronics Technician to maintain and repair all machines and equipment in the facility.

You will read schematics, work with PLCs (Allen-Bradley), troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and support preventive maintenance on a 10:00pm–6:00am shift.

Qualifications

• Experience performing complex electronics, electrical, computer, and PLC industrial maintenance.
• Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to use electrical/electronic testing equipment such as multi-meters, megohm meters, oscilloscopes.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC 5000, PanelView and SLC 500 equipment.
• Ability to work OT as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all machines and equipment in the facility.
• Perform electrical repairs and coordinate with machine adjusters while ensuring preventive maintenance.
• Read and evaluate electrical schematics and plans to repair and install equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC logic and drive systems; work with team on diagnostics.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
