Job summary

Poo~Pourri is seeking a Creative Production Assistant in Dallas for a full-time, on-site role with our fast-moving production team. You’ll join a collaborative group that films regularly, handling prep, shoot days, wrap, and everything in between, with a focus on preparation and on-set support.

You will anticipate needs, coordinate with producers, and help keep shoots running smoothly while embracing a fun, fast-paced environment. Proactivity and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional on-set experience.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Think ahead and translate high-level direction into concrete steps.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and flexibility.
• Clear, proactive communicator who flags problems early.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Reliable internet connection and a laptop.
• Comfortable lifting and moving production equipment.
• Discretion with confidential material and client information.
• Experience with Asana or similar PM software preferred.
• Experience managing calendars or project timelines preferred.
• Creative eye for styling, props, and set presentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Producer across all phases of production, from prep through wrap.
• Assist the Creative Director to pre-set, dress sets, and place props ahead of call time.
• Move and strike lighting equipment.
• Assist with talent logistics: arrivals, hospitality, and holding.
• Anticipate day needs and have it ready before asked.
• Fill gaps as they appear and keep the day moving.
• Ensure release forms are signed.
• Research locations, products, talent, and reference materials.
• Organize files, media, and production archives; maintain schedules.
