Job summary

Border States Paving, Inc. is seeking a Truck Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repair of trucks and assist with asphalt plant upkeep on the road across SD/ND. Welding, hydraulic, and electrical experience are preferred, with a GED or high school diploma required and a valid driver's license expected.

Overtime and weekend work are common during the season, with extensive summer hours and a strong safety commitment. Wages are competitive and benefits are offered.

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of trucks on the road.
• Assist with maintenance of asphalt plant equipment across SD/ND.
• May operate equipment to diagnose problems and inspect for defects.
• Includes moderate to heavy lifting and safety-focused duties.
