You arrive, consult the schematics, trace the issue with your meter, swap the failed component, and bring the system back online. You walk the manager through root cause and preventive tips, update your ticket with time, parts, mileage and fuel, and coordinate a follow‑up with the parts team. Later, you swing by a hospital to assist our installers with a new washer delivery and setup. It’s a day well spent.What you’ll take ownership ofField repair of commercial laundry equipment across OPL and Vended environments (washers, dryers, ironers, and more)Installation of replacement parts and performance checks to validate repairsComplete, accurate documentation of service activities (labor, materials/parts)Diligent recording of travel activities, including mileage and fuel purchasesClear, courteous customer communication before, during, and after the jobProactive coordination with the service manager, parts department, and vendorsUpkeep of company‑provided tools, test equipment, and service vehicleHands‑on help with equipment installations and deliveries when scheduledOther contributions that keep our operation efficient and responsiveTravel and territoryYou will support the Northern Birmingham, AL market with substantial travel across your assigned area.
